Flight capacity limited due to COVID concerns

The number of passengers being flown in to the country will be limited to 75 per flight, for a period of two weeks from today.
The Civil Aviation Authority informed all airlines to accordingly limit the number of passengers arriving on board flights from 4 this morning.
Speaking to NewsRadio, Vice Chairman of Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited Rajiv Sooriyaarachchi said the restrictions will be reconsidered if the pandemic situation improves globally.
He noted the limitations were imposed due to the global COVID-19 situation.
